Ming and Qing Palace & New Yuanming Park

Ming and Qing Palace recreates the architectural character of Beijing during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The scenic area brings together imperial palaces, royal gardens, princely residences, traditional government offices, hutongs, homes and shops, presenting a rich variety of settings inspired by the historic capital. It has served as a filming location for numerous films and television dramas, including Curse of the Golden Flower, War and Beauty, The Legend of Zhen Huan, Story of Yanxi Palace and Jade Palace Lock Heart.
New Yuanming Park draws inspiration from the Old Summer Palace in Beijing at the height of its splendour. It comprises four gardens: Spring Garden, Summer Garden, Autumn Garden and Winter Garden. Through full-scale recreations of selected buildings and landscapes, the park showcases the grandeur of imperial gardens and combines traditional Chinese garden design with Western architectural and landscape influences. Together, its palaces, pavilions and landscaped grounds offer a rich setting for exploring Chinese culture and diverse artistic traditions from around the world.
